It's Official ...... we have Inventory!!!!

After a crazy Thanksgiving weekend, Hello Ladies is proud to announce that our Etsy Shop is open for business!!!!!!!!

We have bracelets, earrings, coasters, onesies, button rings.....more will be listed (as soon as I get the pics taken and Jess can get the descriptions turned out). Stop by and take a look, we are really proud to have turned a fun hobby among friends into a business (and still be friends).

To everyone who has supported us ..... we love and thank you SO much for your kind words, your encouraging words, the advice, the concerns and the "pep talks". You will never know how much it has meant to us! To anyone who thought we couldn't pull it off   :-P.

Will be back to regular blogging ASAP, and as soon as "finals week" is over for Krystle, we are going to do our little series on our "craft heroes". I know I am pretty excited about that and you should be tooooooo.

Have a great night everyone, and I hope you had a blessed and thankful Thanksgiving!

Fun was Had by All

SOOOO, (as you can see I like to start all of "my" blogs with that greeting) "the ladies" and friends had an AMAZING time Thursday Night going to see the premier of "New Moon". We got together at 6pm to watch Twilight to refresh our memory, and then headed out to the Rave at 9ish. THE LINE WRAPPED AROUND THE BUILDING (thankfully we had bought our tickets 56 days in advance).
(sorry the pic is of poor quality)

We got in line and automatically found some kindred spirits and shared our bonds of Twilight. Good times.

(the ladies in our Team Shirts)

we had loads of fun ...... MOVING ON - Mrs. Carol made up some AMAZING crocheted earrings, and bracelets, and necklaces for the Hello Ladies Etsy Shop, opening this weekend (fingers crossed). They are all soooooooooooo cute and I want a replica of each and every one :)

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Hope to have some better pics and a new post tomorrow!
:)

Tomorrow, Tomorrow!!

Well, we haven't posted in a while and I'll tell you why. We are going crazy! New Moon premieres tomorrow and the ladies are going. Minus Jenna I think she has to work...but we take her with us in spirit :-(.
We've all made shirts and there will definitely be pictures of our creations. I love how each of our shirts reflects our creative personalities. It's so fun.

Just an update, the Helping Hands craft fair went fabulously. They raised 1000 dollars for CJOHN, which is amazing!   We met some beautiful ladies in the booth next to ours and we love them. Check them out on facebook Dragonfly Dreams and Designs! We got our name out there and met lots of wonderful people. Thanks to everyone who came to see us and even those who didn't. We love you all!!

Okay, now...VERY IMPORTANT/EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Veterans Day and Craft-Spiration

First off - I want to thank all the men and women who have served or are currently serving in our military. There are really no words to express the admiration I have for you all, and there are especially no words to express my thanks for your service. Such a sacrifice not only for you but for your families and I want to also thank the families. God Bless America!

I move on to say that the Helping Hands Craft Show is Friday!! (and Saturday!) I am SO excited about meeting new people and getting Hello Ladies name out there.

There are so many new projects I want to start on, but this one is calling my name VERY LOUDLY!!!

sigh - I love.

In other news - Hello Ladies wants to send congrats out to Rachel and Family over at Smile and Wave.
Baby Ruby was born on Saturday and she is super cute!

ooooooo - Krystle and I have been thinking about starting a series of "Our Craft Heroes", we are pretty excited about showing our readers (all 7 of you ..... heheheee) where we get our inspiration.

Well that's all for right now. I will leave you with some cute pie pics! And go tell a Veteran thank you! (yes, that was a command....:D  )

I've Been Busy!

I've been so lost in craftyness lately. I made my first hat. Thanks to Miss Windy who leant me some amazing patterns!

Then, today I finished my second hat. I branched out a little and added two colors :-)

I'm working on a scarf for my friend who lives across the hall. His birthday is next Saturday! I love giving presents.

Be crafty!

Salineoween - good times!

Soooo - our second Hello Ladies craft show was on Halloween at an event called Salineoween (we live in Saline County). The event was from 10 to 6 and then from 7 till midnight, the craft part was obviously 10 - 6, that's how long we were suppose to stay set up.... at 11:30 other vendors started tearing down!!! By 2:30 we were there with 3 other vendors all alone, it was madness. I will say, that there wasn't that great of a crowd, but we still made a little money, so it was well worth it to us. PLUS it was the first sunny weekend in about 3 weeks - why would you not want to sit outside in the beautiful weather????

Oh well, we had a great time just hanging out like we always do. Jenna had to work, so my brother Josh, (who is also Krystle's boyfriend) came by and was the 5th "lady" for us. As Krystle said he literally "held down the fort", it was SOOO windy that Josh stood and held the tent for us so it wouldn't blow away, because it tried to dozens of times. I wish I would have gotten a pic, but I forgot!

Highlights of the day:  Ms. Windy and Felicia came by (love you!) and gave Krystle some crochet tips, Aleese, Lenzie and Jo stopped by to say hello, we got to hear a steel drum guy play Thriller.....it was amazing, and at the end of the day there was a Pirate band....yes, I said a Pirate band, very amusing. All in all - it was another great weekend with my best friends, made some money, got our name out there, and enjoyed some great weather (other than the wind).  Next Event is Helping Hands Craft Show on the 13th and 14th of November! We are really excited about this one, because #1 it will be our first indoor show, and #2 it will be our first 2 day event! Come out and see us!

(I'm still working on a cute signature like Krystle and the other girls - the smiley face will have to do for now)

Happy B-DAY JESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Jessica's birthday!!!!

Happy birthday girl!!!!!!! We love you!

We found this pic about a month ago. This is before "hello ladies", but some how we managed to all get in a pic together... it was destiny. (I don't know why the pic is crap, but you get the idea.)

Will be back a little bit late to tell you about SalineOWeen! It was amusing.
